INDIA:Women revolutionaries are a shining example in the People's War of India(RS-YM)

The "Naxalbari Rebellion" stands as one of the epoch-making events in world history. It raised a clarion call for liberation among the oppressed and exploited people of India; the "thunder of Naxalbari" resonated far and wide. This rebellion marked as the beginning chapter of people writing their own history of liberation through a New Democratic Revolution, guided by Maoist ideology, in a country oppressed by imperialism. Its impact has been immense across all fields politics, economy, culture, literature, family, and the environment.

Over the last 60 years, the Maoist communist movement in India has navigated various ups and downs, successes, and failures. Throughout this journey, women have remained an inseparable part of the revolution. Numerous women revolutionaries have been martyred in state-sponsored killings. From the merger of India's two major Maoist parties the MCC and the CPI(ML)(PW) form the CPI (Maoist) in 2004, hundreds of women have been martyred in just six years. Many others have held the red flag of revolution high while enduring horrific torture in captivity.

Since 2009, during military operations such as 'Salwa Judum' and 'Operation Green Hunt', state military and paramilitary forces have raped, mutilated, burned, and inhumanly tortured and killed many women in cold blood. Horrific atrocities, such as dismembering bodies and throwing them into wells and drains, have occurred. Alongside physical oppression, sexual violence against women has been used as a planned political weapon,it is a deliberate part of the fascist state's warfare policy.

In any conflict, the enemies of the people mainly target women as a means to seize power easily. 'Operation Kagar' is no exception. Since January 2024, more than a hundred revolutionary and indigenous women have been martyred in frontline battles during this ongoing military operation. The state has detained many and killed them in cold blood. According to reports from the CPI (Maoist), between December 2024 and November 2025, 320 people were martyred in this "final war" called 'Kagar', of whom 117 were women. In certain actions, the number of female guerrillas more higher than men. Notably, the number of female cadres has increased significantly from the 1990s to the current decade.

This raises a crucial question: Why are women joining the Maoist movement in such large numbers despite facing terrible state repression? What drives them? What is their hope? According to official statements, 60% of the total members of the CPI (Maoist) are women, and women serve as chief commanders in 20 out of 27 divisions. The reason women are joining in such force is their understanding that only a New Democratic Revolution can shatter patriarchy and the patriarchal state system.

Consequently, many women have joined the liberation struggle, sometimes leaving their children in the care of others. They have demonstrated that motherhood is not limited to bearing children, but extends to protecting the future of all oppressed children. Many women have continued the fight even from prison; even after surviving torture and being released, they return to the struggle.

In the bourgeois system, women are valued as commodities. While a few bourgeois women may gain individual empowerment, they remain upholders of patriarchy and do not represent the masses of oppressed women. Today, the Hindutva fascist Modi government is conducting a horrific military operation to eradicate Maoism, killing hundreds of Maoists and tribals. The central and state governments have deployed 850,000 police, central armed forces, commando units, the army, and the air force—supported by American and Israeli military advisors against the PLGA (People's Liberation Guerrilla Army). And the revolutionaries of CPI(maoist) continue their resistance against aggressors.

Women Maoists are a vital part of this ongoing resistance. The history of oppressed women is inseparable from the large history of the oppressed people. Without women, the victory of any revolution is impossible; no war can be won without them. In the Indian People's War, countless martyrs including Comrade Renuka, Comrade Aruna, and Comrade Raje have taught us this lesson. In a patriarchal social system where women are often not even considered as "human",there women are holding up half of the sky in the ongoing people's war in India. The path of liberation chosen by women in the Indian Maoist movement to establish socialism and communism is the only path forward. We, too, must walk in that path.

28th march - a great internationalist day of action against Operation Kagar and in solidarity with people's war in India - ICSPWI

ICSPWI Communique

March 28 was a great international Day of struggle for the Marxist-Leninist-Maoist, communist, revolutionary, anti-imperialist, democratic and progressive forces that fought in various forms in many parts of the world against the Operation Kagaar, against the massacres and genocide in the Adivasi areas, and against the state repression carried out by Modi's fascist regime in the service of the Indian ruling classes and imperialism—all imperialists: US, Russia, China, EU etc.

It was also a great day of internationalist solidarity with the People's War in India and with the Communist Party of India (Maoist).

This Day was the de facto refutation of the plans of Modi regime and imperialism to wipe out the People's War and the CPI (Maoist) by March 31, 2026. This Day has instead shown how the message of liberation and revolution is spreading throughout the world, embodied by the great epic of Naxalism, the Communist Party of India (Maoist), and the armed masses who have made this experience a global reference for communists everywhere and for the proletariat and peoples of the world.

The International Committee to Support the People's War in India (ICSPWI) appreciates all the forces that took the streets and considers them as a whole a great basis for continuing this battle and a great source of encouragement for the revolutionary, democratic forces and the Communist Party of India (Maoist) that are courageously fighting in India in these difficult hours to safeguard the Party, the People's Army, and the path and practice of the people's war.

The Day of March 28, as an international challenge to the Modi regime, was launched at an international meeting held in Italy at the end of September. attended by MLM Communist Parties of Turkey, Philippines, Italy and revolutionary and anti-imperialist forces committed to support the People's War and the CPI (Maoist).

Three decisions were made at this meeting:

  1. To launch an "International Emergency Campaign" against Operation Kagaar, to be deployed in all possible forms in wherever in the world forces of solidarity operate. A campaign to be rooted among the struggling masses and in the ranks of the proletariat and its organizations, in the mass solidarity movement with Palestine, in the movements against imperialist war and in solidarity with political prisoners around the world. A campaign to be carried out toward all international institutions -the UN, European Committee and Parliament and other human rights related institutions- to make the campaign against Operation Kagaar, the massacres of Adivasi populations, and the selective murders of Party leaders and cadres, including the general secretary Basavaraj and a number of Party cadres and fighters, more and more international impacting and effective. The Emergency Campaign also included and includes the formation of an International Delegation to bring the condemnation of the Modi regime into the heart of India.

  2. The second decision was to meet the Modi regime's challenge that had declared they will end the people's war and the CPI (Maoist) by the end of March 2026, by calling and promoting demonstrations in all countries where possible, precisely at the end of March.

  3. The third decision, accepting a proposal put forward in the documents of the CPI (Maoist) in recent years, was to launch an international forum to bring together all forces supporting the people's war in India and around the world, engaged in the anti-imperialist struggles and the perspective of New Democratic Revolutions and proletarian revolutions worldwide, in response to imperialist plans to march to the Third Imperialist World War of reaction and fascism, repression and oppression of peoples, from Palestine to India, from Asia to Latin America.

This work continued, culminating in a major demonstration in January at the European Parliament in Brussels in January -and other simultaneous demonstrations in Birmingham, Austria- submitting a dossier aimed at forcing the European Foreign Affairs Committee, the human rights sub-committee, and the European Parliament as a whole to address Operation Kagaar, the genocide of the Adivasi people, the conditions of political prisoners, and investigate the selective murders of Maoist leaders and cadres.

This initiative in Brussels on January 27 had a significant impact, not least because the same day a historic treaty between the European Commission and India under the fascist Modi’s regime was signed.

Following these actions, preparations were launched for the demonstrations at the end of March, including an international demonstration that would unite several forces and be a reference for the International Day. It was decided to hold it in Zurich, and a coordination body was formed in that city to carry it out.

With the important appeal by FACAM, this international campaign met the opportunity to become a major Day of struggle, precisely because that call mobilised many other forces beyond the ICSPWI, that based on it, organised a large number of actions and initiatives, making this Day a resounding success.

This is demonstrated by the list of initiatives published on various internationalist solidarity web-sites, as summarised in part here.

We focus in particular on the report of the international demonstration in Zurich, because it was large, significant and developed under particular conditions. It provided an indication and a message, particularly from the forces gathered in the International Emergency Campaign and converged on this Day, for the continuation of the campaign.

The "Emergency Campaign" will now continue both on the democratic front and in its extension within the ranks of the proletariat and the movement.

On the democratic front, a new initiative will be developed in Brussels as second step of the confrontation with the European Sub-Committee on Human Rights, to advance the solidarity battle within the institutions, so they take a stand that will contribute to blame Modi's fascist regime. A team of lawyers and representatives of human rights groups are preparing a complaint to the International Criminal Court, for genocide, crimes against humanity, and systematic violations of human rights -exposing the collusion between Modi's and Netanyahu's regimes, as expressed in Modi's infamous speech to the Knesset. Preparations and the organisation of an international delegation will continue, to bring the international campaign to the heart of India and its institutions.

The ICSPWI is jointly preparing and launching a campaign in support of the Communist Party of India (Maoist) through two new steps: the "Martyrs' Week" in late July/August and the 22nd anniversary of the founding of the CPI (Maoist) in September. International demonstrations and meetings will be held primarily within the proletarian and people’s ranks throughout this year.

Finally, a meeting open to all MLM and revolutionary solidarity forces is being convened to launch the Forum in due time.

CHILE: Against Operation Kagar

Chile, March 29, 2026

Every March 29 in Chile, the “Day of the Young Combatant” is commemorated in memory of the popular youth who gave their lives in the struggle against Pinochet’s fascist military government in the 1980s.

On these days, in the neighborhoods of Santiago, the most militant sectors of the people take to the streets to confront the police in memory of the fallen youth.

On this past March 29, Chilean revolutionaries carried out an armed propaganda action amid clashes with the police, launching an international campaign in support of the people of India and against Operation Kagaar.

The slogans, which also condemned the reactionary Kast government in Chile, proclaimed “It is right to rebel”, which was cheered by the masses and other combatants in the popular neighborhood, reaffirming that the path of developing popular protest is the true path of the people.

CHINA:28 march - China - Statement CPLCP - Long live the great Communist Party of India (Maoist)!

Since January 2024, the Indian state has launched a large-scale military operation codenamed "Operation Kagar" in central India. The operation has deployed 60,000 paramilitary personnel, with air power, drones and armoured vehicles in use. It constitutes an all-out offensive strategy by the Narendra Modi regime against the Indian revolutionary movement and its leading core, the Communist Party of India (Maoist). Its core objectives are to eliminate the CPI (Maoist) and forcibly expel the Adivasi indigenous peoples from their ancestral lands, clearing the way for more mining companies to enter the region.

Even in the face of relentless encirclement and suppression, betrayal, and enormous sacrifices, we have witnessed our Indian comrades persist in their resistance struggle. Despite unprecedented intra-party line struggles and treachery by renegades, the sacrifices of great revolutionary leaders like Comrades Basavaraj and Siddaiah, as well as countless ordinary revolutionaries such as Comrade Renuka (Lotus), must never be slandered. The betrayal of Zhang Guotao in no way diminishes the greatness of the Communist Party of China led by Chairman Mao.

Over the more than ten years since Modi came to power, his domestic policies have included forcibly promoting a single language, suppressing local tribes and cultures, advancing agricultural capitalization, and pushing for industrial and infrastructure development. However, India’s domestic energy industry is insufficient, meaning that industrial expansion has only widened its energy gap. Domestically, his fascist dictatorship has intensified repression of revolutionary movements, triggering drastic changes in India’s social structure. Although Modi’s fascist regime has suppressed waves of popular movements, social contradictions have only grown more acute. For a country already like a tinderbox, India’s fragile economic structure ensures that any external shock will set off an intense internal conflagration.

The chaos in the Middle East has derailed India’s economic growth "good news."In the weeks before the US and Israeli attack on Iran, officials in New Delhi were in a celebratory mood. Yet in little more than a month, India’s manufacturing activity plummeted to its lowest level in nearly four and a half years .This starkly exposes the fragility of an underdeveloped, highly externally dependent economy like India’s.

Since our organization's inception, we have steadfastly regarded upholding the great glory of Maoism and liberating the oppressed and exploited people as our mission. This is the birthplace of Maoism and the former center of the international communist movement. We support all Marxists, Leninists, and Maoists who fight for the liberation of the oppressed and exploited people. On behalf of our more than one hundred regional representatives, one thousand peripheral members, and many more potential members, we pay tribute to the great Indian Revolution. We have consistently paid close attention to the development of the Indian Revolution and have always used its progress as a case study for our members, combining it with Maoist theory. We have realized that the Indian revolutionaries, with their long revolutionary history, will surely overcome all obstacles, and Naxal's spring thunder will surely ignite a great India.

Long live the invincible Marxism-Leninism-Maoism!

Long live the great Communist Party of India (Maoist)!

Long live the great Indian revolutionary people!

IRLANDA: 110th Anniversary of the 1916 Rising

his year is an important one for our movement and the Revolutionary Struggle as it marks the 110th Anniversary of the 1916 Rising, when Irish Republicans rose up in arms to assert Ireland’s inalienable right to freedom and sovereignty, taking on the British imperialism at the height of World War One, adding great international significance to the event.
