Campaign Against State Repression (CASR) invites all democratic voices, civil society groups, students, workers, activists, writers, artists, and concerned citizens to join a public meeting in solidarity with Adivasi woman human rights defender and anti-displacement activist Suneeta Pottam.
3rd June 2026 marks two years of the wrongful incarceration of Suneeta Pottam under draconian laws. An Adivasi activist from Chhattisgarh, Suneeta has consistently raised her voice against corporate mining, militarisation, displacement, and human rights violations in Adivasi regions. Her imprisonment is part of the broader attack on democratic rights and people’s movements resisting corporate loot and state repression.
At a time when dissent is being criminalised and those standing with marginalised communities are being targeted, it is important for all democratic and progressive forces to come together and raise a collective voice for justice, freedom, and constitutional rights.
