🪧 'Stop Operation Kagaar' Protest
📍 Indian Consulate, 2 Darnley Rd, Birmingham B16 8TE
🕰️ January 27th, 4PM
More details to follow
There will be two protests the same day in Brussels, to coincide with both a India-EU summit and the European Parliament's Foreign Affairs Committee - Human Rights Subcommittee. These protests have been called by the International Emergency Campaign Against Operation Kagaar. We, the Joint Committee to Stop Repression in India (JCSRI), are calling for progressives in Britain to also join in and make this an international day of action.
This is to oppose the Hindutva Brahminical Modi regime's full-fledged military operation named "Operation Kagaar" in central India - in the states of Chattisgarh, Telangana, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, Jharkhand - the so-called "tribal belt" where Adivasi populations live. Besides murders of CPI-Maoist members under illegal fake encounters - this assault serves to displace and genocide Adivasi populations to serve mining interests.
We must expose repression in India and oppose Britain and the EU's imperialist "free" trade deals with India which fuel this extractive violence. Operation Kagaar is being perpetrated to serve global imperialist interests and British companies and the British state are deeply complicit in various oppressions committed in and by India. The capitalists directly involved and benefitting include the infamous Adani Group - who are involved in colonising Palestine, for example their drone partnership with Elbit and even owning Haifa Port.
Stop Operation Kagaar!

Call for a European mobilization against Operation Kagaar and to denounce the EU's support for the Indian regime!
On January 26 and 27, the European Parliament's Foreign Affairs Committee - Human Rights Subcommittee will meet in Brussels. We call on all sincere democrats, progressives, human rights groups, and those advocating for freedom of expression and religion, as well as revolutionaries of all political tendencies, to participate in a sit-in protest in front of the European Parliament and the Indian Embassy in Belgium.
In fact, since January 2024, the Indian regime of Narendra Modi has launched a full-fledged military operation called "Operation Kagaar" in central India, in the states of Chattisgarh, Talengana, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, and Jharkhand, the so-called "tribal belt" where the Adivasi populations live.
With the deployment of 60,000 paramilitary forces, air forces, drones, and armored vehicles, officially mobilized against the Communist Party of India (Maoist) with the goal of eliminating it "by March 31, 2026," Adivasi populations are being attacked to forcibly evict them from their lands for mining companies to establish.
Human rights groups in India denounce indiscriminate killings (including newborns and pregnant women) and rapings.
Operation Kagaar follows a similar military operation called "Operation Samadhan-Prahar" (2017-2023) in the same areas and using the same methods. This means that this military operation against Adivasi populations has been ongoing for seven years, with indiscriminate massacres in which entire villages are targeted and razed.
The Hindutva brahminical regime of Narendra Mondi directs such massacres by waving the bogeyman of "Maoist terrorism" using the draconian UAPA (Unlawful Activities Prevention Act) of 1967, i.e. the anti-terrorism law to target all voices of dissent and political opponents. Just to name a few cases:
-For more than three years, journalist Rupesh Kumar Singh has been under arrest for his articles opposing the military campaigns parties or the Operation Samadhan-Prahar against the Adivasi people in the state of Jarkhand.
-the political prisoner Sanjoy Deepak Rao, a member of the CPI (Maoist) Central Committee, has been imprisoned for two years without trial and is denied basic prisoner rights, such as the right to leave his cell between 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., while being granted only two hours a day. Sanjoy Deepak Rao went on hunger strike on October 28th.
-In May, journalist Rejaz Sydeek, 26, member of the Democratic Student Association, was arrested for his articles criticizing the Indian military operation against Pakistan and accused of various charges, including terrorism.
-Between July 11 and 21, nine people, mostly students, were arrested without warrants and taken to an undisclosed place where they were tortured and threatened with rape. These arrests were to obtain information about Vallika Varshri, editor of Nazariya (a leftist magazine), wanted by the police.
-Recently, approximately 50 people protesting at Indian Gate in New Delhi against the government's anti-environmental policies and Operation Kaagar, were arrested on charges of having ties with the Maoists.
-Finally, 97 percent of people arrested in India under the draconian Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA). remain in prison without trial, sometimes for years.
Human rights groups report that Communist Party of India (Maoist) militants, once arrested, are often interrogated and tortured in secret locations and then killed in cold blood in isolated forest locations in fake clashes. This recently happened with Hidma and Ganesh militants, last November and December, respectively.
A report was recently published on the systematic use of torture against ordinary and political prisoners in prisons in the state of Bihar.
The Modi regime seeks to impose a single identity, "Hindutva", in a country of over 1.5 billion people, where 23 of the 179 official languages are officially registered (not counting over 1,650 dialects), various religions (including Hinduism, Buddhism, Sikhism, Jainism, Islam, Christianity, Zoroastrianism), and various nationalities.
Hindutva is a supremacist ideology that advocates the establishment of a political regime throughout the Indian Union in which there should be a single religion, Hinduism, and a single language, Hindi. In a country as diverse as India in terms of ethnic, religious, and linguistic diversity, Modi's Hindutva government, led by the BJP, sponsors even more extremist groups such as the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (of which Modi himself was a member) and the Vishwa Hindu Parishad, which carry out attacks.
Indiscriminate against all minorities, particularly in the last 11 years since Narendra Modi came to power:
- pogroms targeting religious minorities have multiplied. The Muslim community has been affected in two major incidents: in Muzzaffarnagar in 2013, shortly before the elections, the local BJP orchestrated a massacre in which 42 Muslims lost their lives, and in 2020, just a year after the re-election of the Modi II government, 36 Muslims were killed in another similar incident in Delhi. Christian communities have not been spared too: they have faced ongoing intimidation and acts of violence, such as the desecration of a church in a locality near Ranchi in the state of Jharkhand.
- Other nationalities besides Hindus have been harshly repressed, particularly Kashmiris, who now live under military occupation. In 2019, the former federal state of Jammu and Kashmir was downgraded to a "union territory," meaning it is directly administered by the central government. In June 2018, a United Nations human rights report highlighted serious human rights abuses, which were confirmed in a subsequent 2019 report. Over 47,000 deaths have been recorded over the past 20 years. But also the nationalities of the northeast, such as in Assam and Manipur, and the Tamils in the south.
In addition to the violent attacks against these minorities, Hindutva ideology, being the expression of the upper Brahmin caste, attacks Dalits (the so-called casteless), who number 65 million in India. The Hindu religion holds Dalits separate from the rest of society and therefore suffers forms of segregation.
Modi's India, approaching a theocracy rather than a modern state, is implementing discriminatory state policies against Dalits, who, like the aforementioned social groups, are victims of discrimination, violence, and murder.
For all these reasons, the following are called for Tuesday, January 27:
-a sit-in protest in front of the European Parliament in Brussels at 10:00 AM;
-a sit-in in front of the Indian Embassy in Brussels at 14:00 PM.

TURQUÍA:IN VENEZUELA, U.S. IMPERIALISM WILL LOSE, THE STRUGGLE WILL WIN! - TKP/ML CC-PB
U.S. imperialism, like a vampire lodged in the veins of Latin America, is once again attempting to feed on the “veins it has cut” through Venezuela. On the evening of January 3, by attacking the capital Caracas after weeks of threats, kidnapping President Maduro and his wife, it turned this into a challenge to the entire world. It sought to give the message that it is an “invincible, unchallengeable” power both to rival imperialists and to oppressed nations and peoples. With the form of the attack directed at Venezuela, Trump also declared that none of the rules they had previously set, in the world and in Latin America, are valid any longer.
While Trump was presenting himself as the “President of Peace,” he was in fact proclaiming to the world that he is nothing but a fraud. For imperialism is characterized, for oppressed peoples and nations, by war, occupation, savage colonialism, political enslavement, and cultural degeneration. Trump, on the other hand, is the leader of how this is carried out in a more effective and more powerful manner. In implementing his imperialist policies, he often prefers not to put on the “liberal mask,” possessing a recklessness that feels no need to conceal its baseness. He is an imperialist barbarian who does not hide his hostility toward workers and laborers, the poor, migrants, women, homosexuals, nature, animals, and everything that is weak; who advocates an “enslaving peace” that serves his own imperialist interests “through force.
Trump, who leads the United States, is on the path of representing the most rotten, most degenerate, and most reactionary clique of the imperialist system. Within the crisis-ridden structure of this rotten and degenerate imperialist system that is dragging the world toward catastrophe, he is pursuing the re-establishment of U.S. leadership power, renewed and expanded even further. The economic crisis experienced by the imperialist system is intensifying competition among the imperialists and deepening political concentration. This political concentration, in turn, is bringing the possibility of regional wars closer day by day. Nuclear threats among the imperialists have now become routine. Defense budgets, meanwhile, are being formed by surpassing those of the previous year many times over. All reactionary forces have taken their place in a large-scale arms race.
U.S. imperialism is engaged in an effort to consolidate its economic, political, and military power in all markets. Trump, who presents himself as the “President of Peace,” has repeatedly demonstrated in a short period of time that while providing political and military support to all his lackeys for attacks, he will also not refrain from direct interventions. He has made this openly evident in Iran, Yemen, Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, Palestine, Sudan, Somalia, Nigeria, and Libya.
Trump’s definition and understanding of “peace” is a clearing of the way that includes preparation for greater wars. It is to resolve the problems among his lackeys, to assign them the correct roles, and to subordinate all of them powerfully and unconditionally to his own orientation. It is to neutralize, encircle, and weaken rival imperialist powers in the struggle over markets through this method. On this basis, he has no intention of ever refraining from using military force. He is in a state of preparation for every kind of war in order to build U.S. leadership even more powerfully. He continues these preparations by making use of the opportunities created by the balance of forces in his favor.
The U.S. has always treated absolute domination in Latin America, which it sees as its backyard, as a fundamental issue. Today, in particular, every economic and political move by Chinese and Russian imperialists directed at this region is considered a threat from the perspective of the U.S. The policy of the dominant powers in the region to take advantage of the competition between the U.S. and other imperialists is seen as “crossing red lines.
Here, Venezuela has been defined as a “threat element” due to these crossed red lines. Since the beginning of Trump’s second presidential term, threats against Venezuela have continued without interruption. Claims such as being the “center of drug trafficking,” having a “repressive political regime,” or a “democracy problem” are the product of U.S. imperialism’s historically shaped reflex to fabricate lies and create justifications for attacks. The justifications of “terror,” “chemical weapons,” “nuclear threat,” and “dictatorship,” along with the lies of “democracy” and “human rights” used in the invasions of Iraq and Afghanistan and in attacks on Iran, Libya, Syria, Yemen, and Lebanon, are still fresh in our memories. We see once again that the same scenario is being enacted in the attacks against Venezuela.
However, the main target is to reshape Latin America, which U.S. imperialism sees as its backyard, in accordance with its own political and economic interests. The Venezuelan administration under Maduro creates a serious hegemonic problem for the U.S. because it follows a political line that is not aligned with U.S. orientation. The element that keeps Maduro in power and provides a certain legitimacy among the masses is the anti-U.S. discourse. Venezuela has long been experiencing a deep political crisis and sharp polarization; the struggle for sovereignty has become intertwined with the problem of coexistence.
The ruling clique led by Maduro builds its existence and power largely through anti-U.S. discourse. The historically rooted anger and hatred of the people toward imperialism has been transformed into political power through this discourse. However, Maduro presenting himself with a “nationalist independence” and “Bolivarian” line is largely an illusion. This political line is far from a genuine anti-imperialist perspective that aims at the economic, political, and military liberation of the oppressed nation and the working people from imperialism.
In the age of imperialism, the anti-imperialist struggle is not limited to standing against military invasion; it also requires overthrowing the system dependent on imperialism and its ruling classes. This situation demands a clear stance against feudal remnants, comprador-bureaucratic capitalism, and its social bases. The “Bolivarian independence” line, from Chávez to Maduro, has been an approach that preserves the existing relations of production and all their foundations, envisioning only limited adjustments in the sharing mechanisms.
This line, which is based on its contrast with the U.S, is not only far from consistent anti-imperialism but also rests on a pragmatic balance-of-power policy aimed at taking advantage of the competition among imperialist powers. Indeed, since the system dependent on imperialism and the relations of production have not been dismantled, the resulting political formation has remained far from democratic; the contrast with the U.S has opened the door to dependence on other imperialist powers such as China and Russia. From this perspective, the sovereignty regime under Maduro and the network of relations it has established neither carries a popular character nor represents a consistent anti-imperialist line.
U.S. imperialism has defined its contradictions with Venezuela under Maduro as a threat to its imperialist interests and has moved to direct aggression against Venezuela’s political sovereignty. Undoubtedly, regardless of the nature of the ruling regime, imperialist aggression is the fundamental problem. As seen in what is happening in Venezuela, imperialism seeks complete hegemony and absolute lackeyship.
With his statements after the operation, Trump set aside the claims of “drugs” and “a democracy problem” in Venezuela and openly expressed his objectives that U.S. oil companies should restructure Venezuelan oil. He declared that the vacuum to emerge after Nicolás Maduro would be filled in the manner and form they determine and desire. The U.S. clearly stated that the operation it carried out requires a new political regime that serves its own interests.
The purpose and target of this operation are clear to every eye that sees and every ear that hears. This intervention is directed toward Chinese and Russian dominance. It is evident that each of these moves will further escalate imperialist competition. The fact that the U.S. operation was quite easy, rapid, and effective, and focused solely on Maduro, points to another dimension of the matter.
This situation raises serious questions about an agreement among powers, internal betrayal, or the nature of the new balance to emerge. But most importantly, imperialist aggression generates deep and entrenched anger among the oppressed nation and the working people, maturing the conditions for the further development of anti-imperialist consciousness, attitude, and struggle.
Nicolás Maduro may have been overthrown by imperialist intervention; however, there are no conditions for a stable and legitimate political transition under U.S. leadership in Venezuela. Imperialism means chaos, blood, tears, and savage exploitation. The U.S. intervention will never be accepted, not only by the people of Venezuela but also by the peoples of Latin America and the world. This intervention once again demonstrates the necessity for a stronger struggle against imperialism for the oppressed nation and the working people.
The imperialists serve no function other than to darken and corrupt the future. The future of Venezuela had long been darkened by being entirely exposed to competition among imperialists. On one side were U.S. threats, on the other, Maduro’s policy of relying on China and Russia against them, which meant handing Venezuela’s future over to the imperialists. The U.S., now, at the risk of the anger and hatred of all the peoples of the region and the world, and at the cost of securing the fear-based loyalty of its reactionary allies, has sent the message that it can do anything, anywhere in the world.
Now it is time for the response that the peoples of the region and the world, starting with Venezuela, will give against this imperialist aggression.
Let Us Organize Anger Against the Fear the Imperialists Are Trying to Spread!
Against Imperialist Aggression and War Provocation, Let Us Raise the Revolutionary War and the Struggle!
Imperialism Is a Paper Tiger in the Face of the People’s Organized Struggle!
Let Us Develop and Raise the Organized Struggle!
Killer U.S., Get Out of Venezuela!
Down with Imperialism and All Forms of Reaction!
Against imperialist occupation and aggression, the peoples of the world will resist, and imperialism will lose!

FILIPINAS: New People’s Army greetings to Indian People’s Liberation Guerilla Army for its 25th anniversary

MGC extends solidarity with comrades in struggle in India.
Support the Indian revolution!
December 21 2025
The Melito Glor Command-NPA ST joins in the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Liberation Guerrilla Army (PLGA), the Red Army of the Communist Party of India (Maoist). We salute the valiant Red commanders and fighters of the PLGA who continue to strive in their revolution to overthrow the US-Modi regime and pave the path toward a bright socialist future for India.
On this occasion, the proletarian movement gives its highest tribute to recently martyred Comrade Madvi Hidma, a member of the Central Committee of the CPI (Maoist) and PLGA commander. He was captured and summarily executed by the fascist Modi regime on November 18. Comrade Madvi was known for having led many of PLGA’s successful tactical offensives.
Rather than despair, the PLGA has demonstrated its loyalty to advancing the revolutionary aspirations of India’s people to achieve complete liberation from the clutches of imperialism. The PLGA’s courage and bravery in advancing armed struggle in a vast country like India, where the reactionary Modi government holds vastly superior forces and resources, is laudable.
They have thwarted the attacks of Operation Kagaar since January 2024. This is similar to the war launched by the US-Marcos II regime in the Philippines, which is desperately trying to “drain the water to catch the fish.”
Like the movement in the Philippines, the CPI (Maoist) and PLGA have suffered great and deep losses in the past year up to November, but the wellspring of the PLGA’s Red commanders and fighters has not been drained—they remain standing by India’s oppressed and exploited masses. By identifying and rectifying errors in the past 22 months, the PLGA advances under the absolute leadership of the Party. They are launching a review and analysis of the objective situation to prevent further losses and weakening.
The life and struggle of our fellow people’s warriors in India inspire the Red fighters of the MGC. Alongside them, our Red fighters strive with all their strength, wisdom, and heart to overcome weaknesses and errors. Like the rectification movement launched in our country, the Red cadres, commanders, and fighters of the revolutionary movement in India are faithful to the pledge to revitalize the Party, consolidate the PLGA, and the mass organizations.
Amid the intensity of facing the attacks of imperialism and reactionary governments, the most correct method is to thoroughly review the basic principles of warfare, guided by Marxism-Leninism-Maoism and its application to concrete conditions. The task of the PLGA and NPA to mount tactical offensives must be positioned to give justice to the state’s bloody abuses and violations of rights. They must advance the people’s war from the strategic defensive stage toward stalemate, until victory.
Various forms of struggle against imperialism and reaction are advancing worldwide amid the conflicts between imperialist powers driven by the unstoppable crisis of the global capitalist system.
In the end, the correctness of taking the path of armed struggle shines even brighter, in order for colonial and semi-colonial countries to establish a genuine democratic government that will serve the interests of the world’s peoples, and establish socialism.
INDIA:Comrade Barsa Deva and the others 15 arrested by Telengana police must be produce to a tribunal immediately! (icspwindia)
January 2, 2026
According to reports, two days ago, the Telangana Police arrested Varsha Deva, known as the commander of PLGA Battalion-1, and 15 others in the Telangana border area.
In the wake of this incident, leaders of civil rights organizations, on behalf of the Telangana-Andhra Pradesh Committee, and Professor Hargopal, in separate statements, demanded that the arrested persons be produced before the court immediately.
They said that if they are really in police custody, they should be produced before the media immediately without causing any loss of life. They demanded that the Telangana government should take initiative in this regard and make arrangements for their production before the media without endangering their lives under any pretext.
Stating that in the past, those who were arrested and surrendered were shot dead in the name of ‘encounters’, they stressed that it was imperative that these persons be produced before the court immediately.
NEPAL:‘Let’s boycott the parliamentary elections sponsored by imperialism! Let’s constitute an Independent United Government!!’
Appeal of the Revolutionary Communist Party of Nepal
Let’s boycott the parliamentary elections sponsored by imperialism!
Let’s constitute an Independent United Government!!
Appeal of the Revolutionary Communist Party of Nepal
The puppet government led by Sushila Karki, the agent of US imperialism and Indian expansionism, has announced that it will hold parliamentary elections on March 5, 2026. This election is a stratagem concocted mainly by US imperialism to further reinforce its hegemony in Nepal by legally making the reliable old agents of the parliamentarian political parties and the new agents born under the guise of the Gen-Z rebellion the trusted contractors of the Nepalese regime. At this time, both the old and new agents are vying to gain the blessings of imperialism and expansionism to attain power through this election. On the other, the workers, peasants, and the general oppressed classes, nationalities, genders, and regions, along with patriotic, progressive leftist political parties, are not optimistic that the government formed through this election will solve the problems of national independence, democracy and people’s livelihood.
The aforementioned problems that the country and its people have been facing for a long time have remained unresolved, not because there were no elections prior to this. Why did the parliamentary elections held in 1959, the elections held during the entire Panchayat period, the referendum held in 1980, the parliamentary elections held under the constitutional monarchy after 1990, the two Constituent Assembly elections held in 2008 and 2013, and the parliamentary elections held after the founding of the Federal Republic of Nepal in 2015 fail to resolve the problems? Why did the problems of national independence, democracy, and people’s livelihood become even more severe after all these elections? The condition of the country and its people will not improve after the upcoming parliamentary elections without seeking answers to these questions, but will instead become more severe. This is a proven fact of history.
The Nepalese people have always supported the struggles led by political parties. But the irony until today is that the leadership, under the pressure of imperialism and expansionism, has finally compromised with that very force against which the people struggled. After those struggles, some faces in the government changed, but there was no change in the Nepalese state power. This is the reason why all the people’s struggles from 1950 onwards have not yielded results that people expected and the country needed; on the contrary, the problems have become even more grave.
The root cause of the problems faced by the Nepalese people is the reactionary state power that protects the interests of mainly the US imperialism and Indian expansionism externally, and those of the comprador and bureaucratic bourgeoisie and the feudal classes internally. This state power has been suppressing the Nepalese people to protect the interests of these two types of enemies. It is the scientific socialism expressed in the leadership and dictatorship of the proletariat, after crossing the threshold of the new democratic revolution manifested in the dictatorship of the oppressed people led by the proletariat that will solve all the problems the country and the people have been confronting, and the people will become the masters of the country. It needs a tough and principled struggle.
In view of this situation, our party’s position is that the constitution of a national political conference of all political parties, organizations, groups and individuals opposed to imperialism and expansionism; dissolution of the current puppet government; formation of an independent united government from the said conference; and writing of a new constitution based on the Federal People’s Republic of Nepal is the instantaneous political way out, and in line with this, party has decided to boycott this election, for it brings the agents to power and thereby further consolidates the grip of US imperialism and Indian expansionism in Nepal. In this situation, our party sincerely appeals to all patriotic, progressive, leftist political forces, including the entire workers, peasants, low-paid employees, and small and medium businessmen, as well as the national bourgeoisie, to forcefully boycott the upcoming election and prepare the ground for the formation of an Independent United Government through the boycott movement.
