El Tribunal Superior de Bombay decidió ayer día 25 de febrero otorgar la libertad bajo fianza para el conocido ideólogo maoísta Konnath Muralidharan (camarada Ajith) que ha permanecido en prisión preventiva 4 años. Sin embargo el tribunal suspendio la decisión dos semanas, para que el Escuadrón Anti-terrorista pueda preparar la apelación, informa The Indian Express.
El camarada Ajith, de 66 años, destacado dirigente e ideólogo maoísta, redactor de publicaciones como "People March" o la revista del MRI "Un mundo que ganar", fue arrestado en Pune, en mayo de 2015, junto a su secretario camarada Ismail Hamza Chiragpalli, acusados de pertenecer al clandestino PCI (maoísta). Se ha realizado desde entonces una importante campaña internacional por su liberación.
