INDIA: Interview with the General Secretary of the Communist Party of India (Maoist) (@libyajamahiriya)

The following is an interview that I have been honoured to conduct and publish, with the General Secretary of the Communist Party of India (Maoist), one of the strongest, most successful, most dynamic, most popular and most feared by the ruling classes communist parties on the planet. Indeed, the people’s war in India, being led by the CPI (Maoist), is of equal importance in the current era, as the Great October Socialist Revolution in Russia, led by Comrade Lenin and the Bolsheviks, was to the decades of the 1910s and 20s. Both myself and the interviewee have sought to do our best to ask and answer major questions that you and others in the International Communist Movement may have about the Indian Revolution.

Meeting of revolutionary fighters and revolutionary masses in Southern Chhattisgarh, featuring a portrait of Chairman Mao.
Contrary to the myths propagated by apologists for the genocidal British Empire, colonialism brought a grand total of zero benefits or advancements to the people of India, only misery.
“The ‘Green Revolution’ only benefitted imperialist Multi-National Companies, comprador capitalists, landlords and a section of the rich peasantry. It devastated the poor and middle class farmers and land.”
Kanha Tiger Reserve, under PLGA control since 2022.
In 1984, the practices of US MNC Union Carbide caused the Bhopal Gas Tragedy, pictured here, which lead to the deaths of over 3000 people and the injury of hundreds of thousands.
The indigenous masses of Hasdeo Forest, under Party guidance, resist attempts by the company of comprador capitalist Gautam Adani, the world’s second-richest man at time of writing, to destroy their home.
Members of the People’s Committee Against Police Atrocities (PCAPA), a mass organization under the CPI (Maoist)’s leadership, burn a regional headquarters of the so-called “Communist Party of India (Marxist)”, the erstwhile ruling party in West Bengal and the incumbent ruling party in Kerala, in both states it has nakedly displayed its revisionist, social-fascist character by brutally suppressing both the revolutionary movement and other people’s movements.
Recent successes: after a period of successive setbacks, the Maoist movement is solidly on the up once again. Countless mining projects have been stopped in their tracks by the Maoists in the past few years, the PLGA successfully resisted Operation Green Hunt, as well as illegal drone strikes and is moving into new areas, as well as reclaiming lost ones.
The Indian LGBTQ+ community protest for their existence and liberation, and against anti-LGBTQ+ laws dating back to the era of British colonialism.
Comrade Narmada, leader of the Dandakaranya Women’s Movement and Dandakaranya Party Secretariat Member, martyred by the cruel fascist state on 9th April 2022.

"Second phase of globalization of semi-colonial, semi-feudal system", says Nambala Keshava Rao and he is right, but if this second phase succeeds all those "semi" will disappear becoming colonial and feudal. That is why the struggle at this moment in history is decisive.
