AFGANISTAN: Announcement of the Communist (Maoist) Party of Afghanistan:

 

In support of the Palestinian resistance movement

And

Sympathy with the earthquake victims of Herat Province, Afghanistan

Twenty days have passed since the barbaric crimes of the occupying Israeli army in Gaza, during which about 7,000 people have been killed and over 15,000 have been wounded. The relentless air raids by the invading Israeli army in Gaza, supported by imperialists, continue. Recently, imperialist countries like the United States, England, Canada, France, Germany, and Italy have jointly called for support for "Israel's right to self-defense against terrorism," which is itself a manifestation of the peak of brutality and barbarism of the outdated imperialist system ruling the world.

The Communist (Maoist) Party of Afghanistan condemns the ongoing repression and continuous massacre of the Palestinian people by the Zionist Israeli army, supported by imperialists and their agents. This suppression is another glaring example of the age-old nature of imperialism, which imposes uninterrupted domination and exploitation on nations and people through oppression.

The escalation of the global imperialist system's crisis intensifies all the contradictions within this system. The rivalry between imperialist powers (Russian imperialism and Chinese social imperialism) against the entrenched American imperialism, along with their increasingly brutal attacks on oppressed nations and peoples to maintain their empires, amplifies and enhances the resistance and struggle of oppressed peoples. This, in turn, reflects the ever-increasing crisis of the outdated imperialist system ruling the world.

Hence, the relentless aerial assaults over Gaza are a clear manifestation of the imperialists' ultimate incapacity and helplessness in the face of the national and social liberation struggles of the Palestinian people.

Palestine and the Middle East, including Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Iran, Syria, the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Oman, Kuwait, Jordan, Egypt, Cyprus, Bahrain, Qatar, Yemen, Libya, and Lebanon, are regions where the continuous and heroic struggle of oppressed people against oppression, as well as the brutal suppression and maneuvers of imperialists, have been and continue to be strikingly evident. However, all the experiences of the liberation struggle of the Palestinian people and, in particular, recent experiences, demonstrate that true liberation from the grip of imperialist bloodsuckers and the restoration of dignity can only be achieved through the guidance and leadership of the vanguard of the proletariat and, in a word, an armed Communist Party adhering to Marxism-Leninism-Maoism.

Establishing such vanguard leadership, especially in the current dire circumstances where its necessity is strongly felt, is a vital and decisive task for the victory of the Palestinian people in their struggle against imperialism, Zionism, and Reactionary.

The Communist (Maoist) Party of Afghanistan (CMPA), together with the international proletariat, expresses its unwavering support for the just struggles of the Palestinian people and strongly condemns the barbaric attacks by the Israeli army.

We continue to show deep sympathy with the recent earthquake victims of Herat Province, where twenty days have passed since the devastating earthquake, resulting in significant loss of life and property. The survivors and the affected people are still facing hardships, being displaced from their homes and shelters, and we extend our heartfelt sympathy to them.

It is certain that the recent devastation in Afghanistan can be attributed to the oppressive occupiers and bloodthirsty imperialists, with the United States at the forefront, who did not hesitate to employ aggression and the use of chemical weapons in this country during their twenty years of occupation (October 7, 2001 - 2021). They have turned Afghanistan into a testing ground for their destructive and devastating weapons, the ramifications of which we will witness for years to come. The extensive use of their weapons of mass destruction in this country has severely damaged the environment in Afghanistan, and we have seen catastrophic natural disasters such as massive floods, landslides, and the recent earthquake disasters in Herat, Badghis, and Farah.

Furthermore, their actions have led to the destruction of thousands of innocent people's homes and the slaughter of this land's population. After the astonishing collapse of their puppet regime and the emergence of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, we are now witnessing the incompetence of this repressive group. Their failure to send rescue teams to affected areas, the lack of proper response to the injured, the inability to provide accurate information, their incapacity to predict disasters before they occur, their lack of scientific knowledge and understanding in identifying earthquake fault lines and probabilities, the shortage of medicine and essential aid such as food, water, shelter, and the absence of organized rescue and relief teams have all contributed to the escalation of the earthquake disaster in Herat.

The Islamic Emirate, which regained control over Afghanistan on August 15, 2021, by its imperialist masters, still relies on its imperialist backers in its efforts to assist the earthquake victims, and their complete incompetence has been evident.

The Communist (Maoist) Party of Afghanistan acknowledges the exit from this critical juncture, in the unity and solidarity with the entire Marxist-Leninist-Maoist movement in Afghanistan against imperialism and reactionary, in coordination with the National Democratic Forces to mobilize the masses. It declares once again that, for the sake of the common interests of the Marxist-Leninist-Maoist movement against imperialism and reactionary, shall rise to the struggle and move forward in unity and cooperation with the entire movement.

By considering the current situation, ensuring principled unity among all Maoists in the country is indeed imperative!

So, with as much commitment as possible and considering the higher interests of the country and its people in mind, move forward with all our might!

Let’s move forward with all our might and strength to work towards achieving comprehensive unity among the forces and personalities of Maoism in Afghanistan!
