Kumaraswamy was killed in an exchange of fire with police in Odisha on January 24 and his body was brought to the village on Wednesday night.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Varavara Rao accused the Modi and KCR governments of trying to eliminate Maoists who were working for the people. The political parties which seem to be different were all same. The political leaders were exploiting the natural resources and killing people who questioned them. Describing it as fake encounter, he said Kumaraswamy was working for Janatan sarkar in Chhattisgarh. People here should question the local political leaders who did not speak out on the encounter or fault the government.
